The Admiral was a high end passenger car manufactured by Opel of Germany from 1937 to 1939. The most common versions were the four door saloon and four door cabriolet, although two door versions were also produced. The relatively short production run was halted as Opel transferred to projects more closely tied with Germany’s forthcoming war effort (the Opel Blitz truck possibly the best known of these). Just over 2314 four door cabriolets were made from a total production run of about 6404.
